Does a Tekonsha Primus IQ Brake Controller Lose Settings After Unplugging

Question:

Recently purchased this item from you . . . have pulled our travel trailer with our Honda Ridgeline one trip so far with confidence in the unit operating as advertised. Question: once the unit is disconnected from its cable, does it lose its settings? Do I need to reestablish all settings again once the unit is connected again to the Ridgelines wiring harness and hitched to the trailer? Thanks for the support!

If you were to unplug the Tekonsha Primus IQ from your vehicle it would reset and the setting would be lost.

It would not lose it's settings if you were to unplug your trailer connector from your tow vehicle after towing.
