SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack for a 2012 Honda Civic Sedan

Question:

The Sportrack fit guide includes the 2012 Honda civic 4dr with the 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 together for a compatible fit with the SR1002. I find this strange because the 2012 model has the same body and is identical save for some cosmetic changes to the 2013 and 2014 model which is compatible with the SR1010. Is this possible? If so what is the difference between the SR1002 and SR1010? Thank you!

When I went through the SportRack fit guide for the 2012 Honda Civic sedan it shows my semi-custom roof rack # SR1002 as a fit. It also shows all of the measurements for installation are the same for 2006 through 2013 models. So everything that I could find shows SR1002 as a fit for the 2012 sedan.
