Having to move the brackets of a trailer to install new landing gear is not uncommon at all. Most landing gear setups are designed for brackets that are 17-1/2 inches apart measured from the outsides of the brackets.
If yours do not match up you would just need to take the trailer to a qualified welder to have them move them to where they need to be.
