Mounting the Tekonsha Prodigy Brake Controller on a 2010 Nissan Frontier
Question:
I am wondering where the best place is to install a brake controller in my 2010 Nissan Frontier. I just bought the Nissan harness for it from you guys and now I have to switch the controller from my F150 to the Frontier. Its typically installed under the dash on the right side of the steering column but the Frontier has a pretty steep angle there. Is this still a good place? What would you recommend? Thanks

Your P2 brake controller, # 90885, can be mounted a full 360 degrees in the direction of travel. As long as the brake controller is mounted in an easily accessible location and the harness will reach on your 2010 Nissan Frontier, it will work. It does not have to be under the dash on the right of the steering column.
It will not work properly if it is mounted tilted left or right or if it is not parallel to the direction of travel. I have included a link to the installation details below. The right side of the page deals with mounting the brake controller.
