Vent Recommendation for the Sleeper of a Semi Truck
Question:
I have a class 8 commercial truck, 2011 International Pro Star+ high rise sleeper. in 2011 the truck did not come with any ventilation in the upper bunk. so you can imagine trying to sleep up their in the summer. I dont idle while parked. so I have been looking for some kind of ventilation unit thats easy to install that utilizes either 12v , solar, or static vent. it is at least 20+ degrees warmer up their and that heat radiates back down into the lower part if the cab. the pop out look great but the roof is not exactly flat, so I am looking to mount it vertically two of them opposed on the back wall. where can I find one of these to look at to see if it will work. thx

For a solar vent the part # UF53-945001 could work well for you, but it sounded like you didn't plan to have the vent mounted to the top of the roof so direct sunlight may be hard to get.
For a vent that runs off of 12 volt power the part # VP-543SP might be a better option. Above the roof line this vent will extend 2-3/8 inches when closed and 3-1/4 inches when open. Check out the review video I attached for more info.
