Trailer Hitch Mount Enclosed Cargo Carrier that Swings Out for a Sprinter RV

Question:

Yakima exo cargo boxes. What is carrying capacity? Does it swing away system for can open back of Sprinter RV without taking box off? How is the locking system against being broken into?

If you are wanting a hitch mounted enclosed cargo carrier that can swing off to the side then the only option is going to be the Yakima EXO carrier # Y62VR. It offers 10 cubic feet of cargo space up to 100 pounds and you can add another 100 if you need to by adding a second tier with the modular EXO system. The carrier itself weighs 97 pounds.

It has locks on the carrier to deter theft and a HitchLock to secure the carrier to the hitch. A determined theif will get into almost anything, but hopefully a would-be thief would likely move on to an easier target if they encountered any locked item.
