Will Hopkins 7- and 4- Pole Trailer Connector HM40975 Fit 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Question:

In your mounting video, picture shows the hm40975 with a mounting bracket and two screws. For a 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500, it seems that the connector is the perfect fit for the oem cover, therefore the bracket and two screws are not used for the 2015 Silverado. is that correct? My reason for asking is that another retailer says the Hm40975 is the wrong part for this application. Help!!!

In our installation video of the Hopkins Pollak 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector # HM40975 on a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado we did not install the bracket, because the connector fits in the same place as the OEM connector.

I spoke to my contact at Hopkins to double check, and he confirmed that the # HM40975 is a fit for the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500.
