Troubleshooting Trailer Leaf Spring Shackle that Faces Wrong Direction

Question:

If one is flipped in the wrong direction, you will need to jack up the trailer and return the shackle to the correct position. got any suggestions about how to return the shackle to the correct position? thanks

When a shackle flips around and faces the wrong direction on trailer suspension most of the time just putting weight on the trailer and driving will correct the problem. Or you can try jacking up one of the axles to get the equalizer (if the trailer is a tandem), to angle and allow the shackle to flip around.
