Troubleshooting Scissor Jack that Won't Lower When Nut is Turned  

Question:

Jack is in the up position trying to bring it down the nut gets loosen but the Jack does not come down I already tried spraying it with WD 40 and it did not help

Are the threads of the main screw turning while the nut is being turned? If so and the jack isn't moving it could be that the barrel nut on the opposite end of the scissor jack has become stripped and now does not allow the jack to raise or lower.

If the main screw isn't turning then the problem is that the nut of the screw has some how disconnected from the screw. Either way it sounds like it's time for a new set of scissor jacks. The part # UF48-979032 that you referenced should work well for you. We haven't heard of any issues like this.
