Bike Rack Recommendation for 2007 Mini Cooper Convertible
Question:
Hello, Which bike racks do you recommend that would fit a 2007 convertible Mini Cooper? Thanks

For your 2007 Mini Cooper, I recommend using a trailer hitch and hitch mount bike rack. The hitch we have that has been confirmed to fit the 2007 Mini Cooper Convertible, excluding S Series, is the Curt # C11126. This is a Class I hitch that has a towing capacity of 2,000 pounds and a maximum tongue weight capacity of 200 pounds. I have attached an installation video of this hitch on a 2005 Mini Cooper convertible for you.
I recommend the Thule Camber Bike Rack # TH9058. Class I trailer hitches are limited to carrying two bikes. The Camber features anti-sway cradles to prevent bike-to-bike and bike-to-vehicle contact. This bike rack has a built-in anti-rattle device to reduce vibration and noise of the carrier in the hitch.
If you're looking for a more budget friendly rack, the Swagman Trailhead 2 Bike Rack # S63360 is also a good bike rack. I have attached a review video of this rack for you as well.
The Thule Passage 2 Bike Carrier # TH910XT that you referenced is not confirmed to fit your 2007 Mini Cooper Convertible. We do not have any trunk mount bike racks that are a confirmed fit for your convertible.
