The Curt Class I hitch you referenced, part # C11535, does NOT require you to do any drilling for installation on your 2015 Acura TLX. You will need to temporarily lower the exhaust for easier access to the frame's mounting points; all that is required for this is slipping off the rubber hangers that support the exhaust. You'll also do a little bit of trimming on the heat shield. The hitch includes all required hardware for bolt-on installation.
The manufacturer's written instructions and a helpful article are all linked to make the process easier for you. Tools required are listed in the instructions. This hitch provides excellent clearance at the back of your TLX which makes choosing a bike rack or cargo carrier much easier.
A Class I hitch can be used with a compatible 2-bike Class I hitch bike rack. A Class I hitch cannot handle the weight of more than 2 bikes. In case you're in the market for a rack I have linked you to our page for Class I hitch racks. In a platform style rack I really like the Kuat NV 2 rack # NV12G and the Thule EasyFold # TH903202.
I also linked Class I cargo carriers in case these are in your plans. Curt offers a great carrier at a very reasonable price, their 17 x 46-inch carrier # C18145.
