Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2007 Acura MDX for Bike Rack Carrying
Question:
i have a 2007 acura mdx and want to install hitch only for the purpose of bike rack i see that you recommend Curt hitch #13354 however i have a lower garnish on the rear bumper. can i install hitch without removing the acura lower garnish. thank you,

The Curt Hitch part # 13354 that you referenced has been confirmed as a fit for your 2007 Acura MDX so it should work well for you. I checked the install instructions and tech notes and found that there is no mention of having to trim or remove any lower fascia pieces.

The Swagman XTC2, part # S64670 is one of the most popular racks because it's so easy to use, and because the rack has an angled shank that would raise the bike rack up by three inches providing additional ground clearance. Because of that, this is the rack I'd recommend for you. The rack includes an anti-rattle hitch bolt, but a combination anti-rattle hitch lock/cable lock is available separately as part # S64031.
