Troubleshooting Integrated Brake Controller that Only Works With Override Lever
Question:
2010 f550 We have this truck since brand-new, it came with the integrated factory Electric Break controller, when we try to connect a trailer to the truck we have no brakes on the trailer we tested the female 7rv plug on The truck and we have no power to the Break prong when we have stepped on the brake pedal, but if we manually use the Electric brake controller, the trailer brakes work. Please any idea what can we do to make it work again using the brake pedal alone??

Sounds like the stoplight circuit signal isn't making it's way to the integrated brake controller of your truck so it's stopped working with the brake pedal.
Since this is an integrated controller most likely the problem is a blown third brake light fuse. Replacing the fuse should fix the problem.
