Plug-In Adapter Recommendation For P3 Brake Controller On 2015 Ford Expedition EL
Question:
I am trying to find the wiring adapter to connect my Tekonsha Prodigy P3 to my new 2015 Ford Expedition EL. Although I am having trouble finding anything that matches. I talked to a gentlemen over the phone a couple of weeks ago, and he stated that I would most likely have to tie into the existing wiring in the vehicle. Im not 100 sure since my 2015 Ford Expedition has a different wiring setup compared to my 2010 Ford F-150. If you can help clarify the best way to make this work I would really appreciate it if you have pictures of the wires/area to tie into that would really help. Thanks

The plug-in adapter needed for your 2015 Ford Expedition to connect your P3 Brake Controller, part # 90195 is part # 3034-P.
You will find the port under your dash to the left of the center console and to the right of the steering column. It may have a cap on it and may also be taped to other wires. If you are unable to locate it, your Expedition should have come with a brake controller packet. There would be a hardwire harness and the instructions that explains where the port is.
If all else fails, you can check with your dealership and have them show you where the port is located on your Expedition.
