Yes, the 10 Inch Nev-R-Adjust Electric Brake Assembly, # 23-468 and # 23-469, can be used on a boat trailer. These brakes work with a 4 bolt mounting flange with bolt holes measuring 2-7/8 inches apart on center.
When using electric brakes on a boat trailer there are a few things that you should keep in mind. First, make sure all of your splices and wires are sealed so water cannot make its way into the wires and cause shorts or corrosion build up. Second, I strongly recommend unplugging the trailer wiring from the vehicle before backing into the water and not plugging them back in until the trailer has had a chance to dry.
If you are in the market for a brake controller, take a look at the Tekonsha Prodigy P3, # 90195. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup.
To complete the set-up for the brake controller, additional wiring may be needed. If you would like to send me an email with your vehicle information and the type of trailer wiring that is currently installed, I will be happen to determine what additional items are needed.
