As long as your Volvo XC90 is a 2003 - 2014 model, you will use fit dial number 9 on your Thule Passage Trunk Mounted Bike Carrier, # TH911XT.
Thule also provides the following tips for the XC90. 1) Place top clips in the gap at the front edge of the top of the trunk, hatch or door. 2) Place lower clips in the bottom edge of trunk or hatch. 3)Caution: Rear wiper can not be used when carrier is mounted. 4) Lower arm of carrier should be positioned on upper tier of bumper.
