Weight Distribution Recommendation For 2012 Toyota Tundra Towing 2008 Rockwood Mini-Lite Camper

Question:

I have a 2012 Tundra 5.7L 4x4 with towing package. Ill be towing a 3500lbs dry trailer with a tongue weight of 425-500ish lbs and 4700lbs GVWR. Its a 2008 Rockwood Mini Light 2306. I would like to purchase anti-sway and weigh distribution unit that is easy to use and backs up well. What do you recommend?

When choosing a weight distribution system you will need the tongue weight of your trailer in its full loaded ready-to-tow condition added to the weight of any cargo you are carrying behind the rear axle of your Tundra. For towngue weights around 400-500 lbs, a system like the Reese Stead-Flex Weight Distribution System, part # RP66558 would work great for you.

This system has a tongue weight capacity between 400 and 600 lbs. It also features built-in anti-sway control. It also features a lift handle which reduces the lifting needed by a trailer jack.

You will just need to add a properly sized ball like part # A-90 for a 2 inch diameter or part # 19286 for a 2-5/16 inch hitch ball. I have attached a link to a helpful article about weight distribution you can check out.
