The Derale Transmission Cooler, # D13502, is rated for your 2005 Honda Odyssey EXL.
It is a universal fit application and has dimensions of 11 inches X 7-1/4 inches tall X 7/8 inches deep. So you would need to measure on your Honda Odyssey to make sure you will have clearance for this transmission cooler.
There are three possible mounting points for the cooler, and it plugs in line with the hoses already on the vehicle. If you have enough space, the most efficient mounting location is between the vehicles grille and the AC condenser core.
The next best location is between the AC condenser core and the radiator. Efficiency will be cut by 25 percent.
The least efficient place to mount the cooler is between the radiator and the engine, it will cut efficiency by 40 percent. If you must use this location, it is recommended to use a larger cooler to make up for the lost efficiency.
I am sending a link to a page that will give information on transmission coolers. I am also sending a video link to the same transmission cooler being installed in a Honda CR-V.
