I have a bad trailer module, can I buy just the module not the whole kit?

To replace the bad converter box you could use the # C56496. This will allow you to wire the converter to existing wiring of your vehicle and will come with a new 4-way connector.

You will want to check the wiring of your trailer to find what shorted out your current converter before you replace it so that you don't short out the new one as well.
