Recommended Radial Tire To Replace Bias-Ply ST185/80D13 Trailer Tire

Question:

Im replacing 4 trailer tires/wheels, St185/80D13s. What would be the right tire size to change to radials ? I cant find ST185/80R13s listed anywhere?

The ST175/80R13 radial tire we offer like part # TTWTRTM1758013C would measure 6.889 inches wide while a tire that is ST185/80D13 would be 7.283 inches wide. That is a difference of .393 inches or a little over 1/3 inch.

The # TTWTRTM1758013C tire would fit wheels that measure 13 x 4-1/2, 13 x 5, or 13 x 5-1/2 inches, so it would work well for your wheels. This is a Load Range C tire with a maximum load ratin g of 1,360 lbs at 50 psi.

For a Load Range D tire I recommend part # AM10210. This has a capacity of 1,610 lbs at 65 psi.
