Superwinch LT3000 Mounting To Carl Hauling Trailer

Question:

I have a car trailer. Does the winch come with any sort of mounting plateinch that I could drill holes in the front A frame of the trailer to mount the winch or does it need a custom mount plate made by a welding shop ?

The Superwinch LT3000 # SW1130220 does come with a plate that will allow you to mount the winch on your trailer. My contact at Superwinch said that the plate will bolt to your trailer. The mounting bolt pattern is 3 inches by 4-7/8 inches.

How the mount is connected to the trailer will depend on the trailer's construction. It is recommended that the mount be bolted onto a structure that is tied into the trailer frame.
