How far back, from the ball, is the lift bracket located once installed? I have limited room on my tongue and need to verify it will fit.

I spoke with my contact at Curt and he said the lift bracket on the Curt Weight Distribution System, part # C17063, should be located a minimum of 33 inches from the center of the coupler down the tongue. This measurement includes the length of the spring bars (31.67") and half of the width of the 3" bracket.
