Lost Keys for Lock on Yakima Doubledown and Need Replacements
Question:
Worst case scenario, I am going to assume that the hitch lock is the only Yakima lock that you have that used that key. If this is the case you will either need to have a locksmith pick the lock or you can try drilling it out. In this case you would then have to replace the lock with part # Y07235. If by chance you have another lock which used the same key and it is in the unlocked position, you could use Control Key, # Y8007835, to remove the lock core and obtain the number listed on the side. You could then order replacement keys, # Y8772-Key Number. For example, if the code is A133 you would need part # Y8772-A133.
