Does the Curt hitch require the support starp on a 2015 Toyota Highlander for non trailer loads? Where does the wire kit plug in on the same vehicle?

The Curt hitch part # C13200 that has been confirmed as a fit for your 2015 Toyota Highlander does not require the use of a stabilizer strap with non-supported loads.
The trailer wiring harness part # C56217 plugs into the connection point in the rear cargo area of your vehicle. The connector is located in the rear hatch behind the rear scuff panel. See install video for more info.
