Left Turn Signal/Brake Light Circuit Not Working at Trailer Connector on a 2006 Ford F-150
Question:
My left turn sig. is not working from the back plugs. I have both the flat four and the 6 round plugs. either one is working for the left turn sig. All other lights are working OK from my test light. I have checked all my fuses on the truck and they are OK.??

On your 2006 Ford F-150 there are special fuses for the tow package right/left turn and brake circuits. The left side is in location 42 and the right side is location 36. If the fuse is good in location 42 then the issue is likely the wiring somewhere from the front of the truck to the trailer connectors. You will need to trace the wiring as best you can and fix any breaks in the wiring. Also make sure that the connection to the back of the connectors is good and not corroded.
