Roof Rack Recommendation and Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2008 Jeep Compass

Good morning, We are looking for a bike rack mount for our 08 Jeep Compass. Please tell me if this Thule rack once mounted, will clear the trailer hitch as we would also like to be able to use this while towing our pop-up camper? TH910XT thank you

I have a solution for you, but you cannot use a trunk mounted bike rack while towing a trailer so the # TH910XT would not be the correct rack for you.
A much better option would be a roof rack mounted bike rack. You may have a roof rack installed already from Jeep. Or, you may be in need of a roof rack that includes crossbars that run from one side of the roof to the other. If so check out the link I attached that has all of the roof racks we offer confirmed as a fit for your 2008 Jeep Compass.
Once you have a rack (or if you have a factory rack), the Yakima ForkLift # Y02098 would work well.
