Curt Drop Weight Distribution Shank Recommendation for 2004 Dodge Ram 2500
Question:
Hello, I recently purchased a weight distribution system. But the shank is not low enough for my 04 ram 2500. The shank uses 3/4 bolts for the round bar plate to attach to it. There is a 1 1/4 inch space between the center of each of the 3/4 holes on the shank. I have noticed some shanks use 3/4inch bolts and some dont can you help me find a longer one. Thank you.

Most weight distribution shanks have the dimensions yours has with the 3/4 inch holes and 1/1-4 inches between the holes measured on center. The Curt shank # C17123 has a drop of 8-1/2 inches for round bar systems and a drop of 8-1/4 inches for the trunnion system.
For even more drop the part # C17124 would give you up to 9 inches of drop for trunnion systems and 10 for round.
