Replacement Motor and Gear Box for Venture Landing Gear on a 5th Wheel Trailer

Question:

Im guessing the motor and gearbox on my fifth wheel needs replacing as the motor has slowed way down and the gear box makes a clicking sound. the motor is a 1RV-200 and the gear box is a Venture but I cant find a part number on it. Ive found previous info in your Q and As showing a Lippert motor 142178 will replace the motor but I cant find any info on the gear box. Ive not taken the components apart yet and Im assuming the part number may be hidden. Is there a standard gear box to replace this? Also, where can I get detailed instructions on doing the replacement myself? thanks so much for your time!

Gear box # LG-179015 will fit Venture landing gear jacks and replacement motor # LG-142178 would work as well. Motor # LG-196308 will also work.

There aren't any detailed instructions but both the gear box and motor are external so be removing the old motor and gear box you will just reverse the process to install the new parts.
