Load Resistor Recommendation for Running Light Circuit of Motorhome Switching to LED
Question:
Do I need 4 load resistors for this assembly? 2000 Tioga 31foot motorhome. I tried to replace 1157 bulbs with leds in my existing Bargman lights and I had no tail lights, although the running lights worked and I had the hyper flash. I installed load resistors in the circuit for both lamps and I have good blinkers but still no tail lights. Put incandescents back in and all work fine.

It sounds like your 2000 Tioga motorhome does need load resistors installed on the running light circuit so that you can run LEDs. Typically a non-flashing circuit like the running lights do not require the load resistors. But in some cases if all of the running lights are run off of the same wire the lower amperage draw of the LEDs can cause the circuit to want to function with other incandescent bulbs still on the circuit.
For a pair of resistors the part # DI34ZR would work well.
