Proportional Brake Controller with Dimmable Display for 2015 Chevy Silverado

Question:

Im looking for a 1-2 axle proportional trailer brake controller for a 2015 Silverado. Ive read comments from some about the bright blue display light and have a few questions. Are there any controllers that have dimmable displays? Is the display off except when braking - and does the display illuminate even without a trailer attached?

For a proportional brake controller that allows you to adjust the screen brightness I recommend the P3 # 90195. This controller also has easy to understand diagnostics, which will help troubleshoot any problems in the braking system. It is compatible with up to a total of 8 brake assemblies so it will work well with single or tandem axle trailers.

The only other part you will need is a brake controller wiring harness for your 2015 Chevy Silverado, # 3016. I have linked a video showing an example installation.

The display will show .c when a trailer is connected or, when braking with the pedal or manual override, it will display numbers.
