Recommended Extra-Long Ball Mount That Works With 2013 Honda Odyssey
Question:
Greetings, I currently have an 2013 Odyssey with a Hidden Hitch Class III p/n 11843 installed. This hitch was moved from a 2006 Odyssey to the 2013 Odyssey. In 2013 you verified that the hitch was compatible with the 2013, but I did have to purchase a different wiring kit, p/n 118521. My current issue is with the ball mount. The ball mount which was used on the 2006 Odyssey, does not extend enough to provide clearance of the bumper to mount the trailer. My current ball mount is a Hidden Hitch 80220. Can you recommend a proper ball mount for this setup? Note that I already have 2inch and 1 7/8inch balls which I can utilize. Thank you,

I see by the records that you have the Draw-Tite, part # 75270 for your Odyssey. The distance from the center of the hitch pin hole and the back of the rear bumper is 6-1/2 inches.
We do offer extra long ball mounts that are designed to fit a 2 inch receiver opening like the Brophy # BM20 that is 13-1/4 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole. I have attached a helpful article that explains how to select the right ball mount you can check out.
I have also attached a link to the extra-long ball mounts we offer that will fit the 2 inch receiver opening on your hitch. You can measure the distance from the center of the hitch ball hole to the hitch pin hole to see what the length of the ball mount you have is.
We do offer a super-long ball mount. It is part # 80232. This measures 16 inches long from center of pin hole to center of ball hole. This may be longer than you need. If so, you can check out the link and select a ball mount that will work best for you.
