Question:
Are a 1998 Ford Ranger and 2006 Expedition King Ranch both with 4 pin trailer connectors pre-wired for a 7 pin connector? If yes, do you sell the 7 pin pigtail?

Expert Reply:
The 1998 Ford Ranger is not pre-wired for a 7-way. You can convert your 4-pole to a 7-way by using our kit # ETBC7. This kit includes a 7-way socket, wiring, connectors, circuit breakers - in fact all the parts you need to have a 7-way with 12V power and trailer brake circuits. An installation article and video are linked for you.
For the 2006 Expedition King Ranch you will also use the same # ETBC7 kit to install a 7-way and a video for the Expedition is also linked.
