Trike Roof Rack Recommendation for the Roof of a 2011 Ford Fusion
Question:
I have a 2011 fusion se and apparently there is no hitch based trike rack that can be used because the hitch is limited to class one. Is it possible to use three of the Swagman single bike roof carriers to carry a single trike? The wheel base of the trike is about 43. The trike weighs about 40 pounds so shouldnt be a problem for the cross bars or each of the roof carriers since the weight would be spread across them.

If you wanted to install three of the Swagman roof bike racks part # S64710 on the roof of your vehicle (one for each wheel), you would be able to transport your trike on the roof of your vehicle.
