Brake Controller Install Harness Recommendation for a 2015 Toyota Tundra

Question:

I took of the drivera side kick panel and didnt see any harness. Is there such a thing on the 2015 4x2 Tundra or do I need to get it hard wired? Thank you.

If you have the factory 7-way installed on your 2015 Toyota Tundra all you would need to install a Tekonsha brake controller would be the correct install harness, part # 3031-P.

The 2015 Tundra brake controller port location is located behind the towing toggle switch area. The plastic housing for this area will pop out and it will be right there.

For a brake controller I recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup. This is a proportional brake controller that senses the amount of braking the tow vehicle is applying and applies a proportionate amount to the trailer brakes.
