What is Needed to Install the Rola Roof Mounted Cargo Basket, # TH859XT on a 2006 Land Rover LR3

is there any other components needed prior to installing the rack onto my lr3. im not too familiar with roof racks.

The most important thing to check is the spread of the crossbars that run side to side on your 2006 Land Rover LR3. If the cross bars are spaced between 20 inches and 37 inches apart, then the Thule Canyon Roof Mounted Cargo Basket, # TH859XT, will fit. Also make sure you stay within the weight capacities of the roof rack and your roof. I have included link to the installation details and a video review of the basket below.

If you do not have a roof rack, or cross bars that run side to side, you will need to add them before you can use the cargo basket. There are 3 components you will need. First is the Thule Podium Foot Pack (Qty 4), # TH460R. Second, Thule Podium Fit Kit, part # THKIT3112. Last, you will need Thule SquareBars, # TH712400. This will provide you with a roof rack and you can then install the cargo basket.
