Is Installation of Hopkins Backup Sensor System Difficult on a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen
Question:
I have a 2013 VW Jetta Sports Wagon TDI. The lights are not part of the lift gate but rather located on the rear fenders. Can this unit be installed easily having to run wires through the existing rubber grommet at the top of the lift gate and then under the roof liner and down to the rear lighting assembly?

It sounds like you understand how and where the Hopkins backup sensor system # HM60100VA will need to install and wire up. I would say that installation difficulty for your 2013 VW Jetta SportWagen is moderate, nothing you can't handle though!
The difficult part will be routing the wire. But it isn't so much difficult as it is time-consuming and you already know where to go so that is half the battle.
