Selection of a properly-tuned weight distribution (WD) system requires you to know your trailer's fully-loaded and ready-to-tow tongue weight (TW) with all your usual gear and supplies loaded. To this measured TW you need to add the weight of anything in the Sierra that sits behind the rear axle, such as a generator or loaded cooler. The linked article explains how to measure TW.
These two weights added together give you your total tongue weight (TTW) and that is the key for choosing the right system, one that is stiff enough to move some trailer TW forward onto the Sierra's front axle but not so stiff that it creates odd handling characteristics. Ideally your TTW will fall into the middle of the system's operating range. Just click on your TTW figure on the linked page.
Let's say your TTW ends up being 700-lbs. In this case a great choice is the Reese Strait-Line trunnion system # RP66084. This system allows you to back up, it works with your Starcraft's electric brakes and it includes the required shank. It also provides better ground clearance than round bar systems. This system fits 2-inch hitches but if you happen to have a 2-1/2-inch hitch you can select that attribute using the filters on the linked page.
All you need to add is the hitch ball, either 2-inch ball # A-90 or 2-5/16-inch ball # 19286.
