Could the Thule Cargo Basket Fit Yakima Crossbars Spaced 36 inches Apart
Question:
I am planning on getting Yakima Q towers for my 2011 Ford Flex. The cross bar length is to be 36 in as per Yakima. I was looking at the Thule th859xt. My question is does the Thule carrier fit to a 36 in cross bar spacing or do I have to move the cross bar spacing back 1 1/2 in this would I guess void my Yakima warranty. Thanks

Since the hardware of the Thule Canyon XT # TH859XT can fit wide aero style bars with spreads between 20 inches and 37 inches, this will work great for you. You can leave your bars right where they are.
