Trailer Connector Has Current All The Time After Being Moved From 2000 To 2006 Subaru Outback Wagon

Question:

Purchased a wiring harness for 2000 Subaru Outback wagon which I later installed on a 2006 Subaru Outback wagon. My question. When the ignition is off should there be any power going through any of the connector terminals, because there is power through one. Thanks,

The Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, part # 118461 is designed to fit both the 2000 and 2006 Outback Wagon as long as it is not a Sport model.

After connecting the T-One harness you should not show any current on any of the pins unless they are activated like stepping on the brake or using the turn signals. If you have all of the connections secure and the key is off and you are showing current on one of the trailer connector pins, there is probably a short in one of the circuits of the ModuLite and the harness will need to be replaced.
