Question:
You stated that the factory connector is on the right of the steering column, but near the emergency brake, which is on the left. Im trying to transfer my controller from a 2010 Ram to my new 2015 Ram. Its a Prodigy I I. If Im understanding the info properly I cant use my old connector harnessa3020p., but must use a new 3024p, right? The connector on the old truck was blue, whats the color on my 2015 Ram? Thanks

Expert Reply:
That is correct, you can still use the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller, # 90885, on your 2015 Ram but you will need Plug-In Wiring Adapter, # 3024-P.
Part # 3020-P is not designed for your vehicle.
As for the location of the factory connector, this will be located underneath the dash and right of the steering column taped to another harness. You are looking for a 4-pin connector that will mate with the one end of the adapter and it should be white or a very light gray in color. Take a look at the picture that I have attached.
