There is a way to find the correct wires. But wiring color is never exact, even within vehicles from the same manufacturer, so I cannot tell you definitively what color wire on your 1999 Hyundai Sonata matches which wire on the # 119178KIT harness.
You will have to use the included circuit tester in order to find the correct wires. First, you will access to the wires behind the taillight assembly. The white wire will attach to an existing ground point or the vehicle frame. Using a circuit tester, find the wire that carries a signal in unison with the left blinker. Attach this wire to the yellow wire on the harness.
Next, find the wire that carries a constant signal when the vehicle lights are on. Connect this wire to the brown wire on the harness.
Then, you will need to find the wire that carries a signal only when the brake pedal is pressed. Attach this wire to the red wire on the harness.
Next, route the green wire on the harness over to the right taillight. Find the wire behind the right taillight that carriers a signal in unison with the right blinker. Attach this wire to the green wire. Re-assemble the taillights, tuck away any loose wires, and you will be done.
I have included a video showing the installation of the # 119178 wiring harness on a similar vehicle that should help.
