Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2005 Chevrolet Mailbu Maxx for Use With an Allen Bike Rack
Question:
I am going to use this hitch ONLY with an Allen Bike Rack - which of the two models that you have for my vehicle will work best for this application? Thank you.

The only hitch made for your Malibu is the Curt Trailer Hitch, # 12280. It is rated for 350 pounds of tongue weight and 3500 pounds of towing. This is a Class-2 hitch with a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening. You will need to make sure the bike rack you plan to use fits in a 1-1/4 inch receiver.
If you plan to tow, you will need a ball, like # 19258, and wiring # 18252.
