Best Trunk Mounted Bike Rack Recommendation for 2015 Mazda 3 Sedan
Question:
I am looking for a bike rack two mountain bikes for a 2015 Mazda 3 Sedan, four door. The problem is that the car is leased and would like something that would do minimal damage when securing and mounting. So far it has been incredibly frustrating when searching for such a rack. Any advice, suggestions or help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Since you normally can't install a hitch on a leased vehicle your best option would be a trunk mounted bike rack for your 2015 Mazda 3 Sedan.
The nicest rack we carry that has been confirmed as a fit for your vehicle is the Thule OutWay part # TH45JV.
What makes this rack far superior to the others is the attachment system. It uses only 2 rubber coated straps to attach to the vehicle rather than 6 straps like other racks. This makes installation quick and easy. And it also uses the OnKey system to lock both the rack and the bike to deter theft.
If you plan on carrying any women's or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Swagman Easy-Out Women's and Alternative Frame Bike Adapter # 64005 to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. I attached a review video for this product also. This will allow the bikes to be carried more level and will provide more ground clearance.
