Trailer Wiring Harness Recommendation for a 2004 Ford Crown Victoria

See several forum warnings about damaging LCM in my 2004 Crown Vic if I do not use separate power source and relays. Is this concern valid? Does your kit avoid this problem?

The recommended trailer wiring harness for your 2004 Ford Crown Victoria is the part # 46255 which takes all of the power to illuminate the trailer taillights from the battery of the vehicle. Because of this it would not damage the taillight circuits of your vehicle.
