Will Reese Slider Attachment Move The Fifth Wheel Trailer Forward
Question:
i have pro series 16k with no slider I am wondering if my rails need to be moved or will part 30048 fit right in and how much from my setup now will I gain in the hookup forward as I am about 10foot over the legal length on the road with truck tailer and boat

The Reese Fifth Wheel Slider # RP30047, part # RP30048 will not change the installation for the rails in the bed of your truck. It will fit right into the rails you have installed. It is used to move the hitch and trailer king pin 10 inches closer to the tailgate of your truck, so you will not gain any distance forward .
Since you said you are about 10 feet over the legal length with your trailer and boat attached I can only recommend not towing the boat to stay within the legal limits.
