Could you tell me what the difference is between the rail kit # RP56009-53 and the # RP50054-58? I am looking for the best one to install

The Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit # RP50054-58 is similar to the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Outboard Install Kit # RP56009-53. Both base rails will work with fifth wheel hitches that use the standard above-bed base rails.

The biggest difference between these rails is that the # RP56009-53 will be much easier to install than the other kit because of the way the outboard install brackets face and the length of the base rails. You will not have to fight with clearance between the bed and the frame. I highly recommend this kit because of the easier install. You will have more room to work and easier access with your tools. The above-bed rails with this kit will also be taller in your truck bed than the base rails in the other kit.
