Is this the right unit to use on a 2011 Tacoma w/ LED tail-lights ?

Since you have LED taillights you are going to want to go with a trailer wiring harness that does not draw amperage from the actual taillight circuits unlike the # C55513.
Since a custom wiring kit isn't available for your vehicle you would want the part # 119250KIT.
