Roof Rack and Box Recommendation for Blacked Out 2015 Dodge Durango RT

Hi i have a 15 dodge durango rt blacked out i need a roof rack and box that will still allow my rear hatch to open my dogs will be in the back so i will need enough space in box for luggage for 4

I have included a link to the roof racks that are available for your 2015 Dodge Durango RT. One of my personal favorites is the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack, # RR35SR. This rack is aerodynamic, all black, and looks as though it was from the factory so it will look great on your Durango.

Now for a cargo box that won't interfere with the opening of your hatch. To determine which box will work for you, a couple of measurements will need to be made. First, you will need to measure 3-5/16 inches forward of the center of the door jam. I have included a picture for you. This is where the center of your front crossbar will sit. From this point you will now want to measure back to the hatch seam. This will be your clearance measurement. I have included a couple of charts which list the required measurement for each box. Your measurement must be greater than the one listed for the box that you choose. For example, if your measurement is 56 inches you could go with the Thule Pulse Alpine Rooftop Cargo Box, # TH613, which offers 11 cu ft of storage space and only needs a clearance measurement of 55-1/4 inches.
