5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Installation Kit and Hitch for a 2014 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel

I have a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew cab Eco Diesel. Where do I mount the rails to clear the cab? What type of hitch do I need?

None of the Reese installation kits will fit the 2014 Ram 1500 with the EcoDiesel motor. The only option is going to be a Demco installation kit and hitch.
If your truck is a short bed you will need installation kit # DM8552030-71. Then you can use HiJacker hitch # DM8550034 which has 14 inches of travel for clearance between the truck cab and trailer when making tight turns.
If you have a long bed you can use the same installation kit, # DM8552030-71, and go with a fixed hitch, # DM6076P-16K. I have included links to the instructions for you.
