Should Trailer Hitch Be Reinstalled On 2014 Honda Odyssey For Spacer Placement

Thank you first. my car Honda Odyssey 2014, the 75270 is perfect to fit my car, I went to a garage and let them install it for me. but I just found, they did not put the six blocks in the right positions, they did not put the blocks between the hitch and frame rail, instead, they put the blocks and washers together under the hitch, and the hitch attach with the frame rail directly. so, my question is: it is necessary to ask them correct it or just leave it the way it is now. because, I saw they installed it very tightly, 68 LB-Ft, I just worried about taking it down may cause more damage on the six holes, what if one of them gets damage and can not fit the bolt any more? Thanks.

I called my contact at Draw-Tite and asked about the installation of the # 75270 on your odyssey.

They told me that the instructions clearly show the spacers placed between the frame rail and the hitch and they recommend having the installation corrected. They told me that the spacers are typically used to accommodate needed space for a fascia which is not the case here, or there may be a small offset on the vehicle frame.
